Three mystery players, revealed one club at a time. Each round opens on a position, the part of the world they play for, and the player's first senior club - years, apps and goals where we have them. Guess any time, or reveal the next stop to see more of the career.

A guess and a reveal cost the same: one try. A wrong guess also opens the next clue for free, so a miss always moves you further down the career rather than charging you twice. Before you start typing, the guess box offers players whose careers match every club on show.

Careers are tracked from the 2012-13 season on, so a club from before then isn't shown. A player with just one or two clubs on record gets extra stat clues - years active, career record and peak value - before the nationality.

The last reveal is always the player's exact nationality. The fewer tries you need, the more you score: each round ladders from 330 down to 200, and solving all three earns a clean-sweep bonus for 1000 in all.

The daily careers are the same for everyone. The clock is running, and ties on score are broken by time.
